Spitfire W3937 at Hutton Cranswick airfield.

At 20.30hrs on 12th June 1943 Spitfire W3937 and Spitfire BM144 both of 315 Squadron landed at Hutton Cranswick airfield following an operational flight named "Ramrod 91" when they collided taxying back to dispersals. Both aircraft were slightly damaged and both pilots were deemed at fault.

Stanislaw Calinski-Cap was killed on 20th May 1944 flying Mustang FB179 which crashed in Northern France.
