Halifax W1173 at Topcliffe airfield.
During the morning of 31st August 1943 this 1659 Heavy Conversion Unit aircraft was flown on a basic circuits and landings training flight using Topcliffe airfield, at 10.43hrs one of the landings was heavy resulting in damage to the tail wheel.
