Halifax W1095 at Topcliffe airfield.
At 00.25hrs on 13th August 1943 this 1659 Heavy Conversion Unit aircraft ran off the runway during a night landing at Topcliffe. The tail wheel collapsed and the aircraft received minor damage.

Instructor Pilot - F/Lt Harry William Sandgreen RCAF (J/16791).
Harry Sandgreen was posted to 24 OTU on 14th September 1943.
John Keane was posted to 434 Squadron on 19th August 1943 and was awarded the DFC for service with them in 1944.
