Halifax W1092 at Topcliffe airfield.
At 00.47hrs on 4th July 1943 this 1659 Heavy Conversion Unit aircraft was in the process of taking off from Topcliffe as part of a circuits and landings training flight when a tyre burst, the aircraft ground looped and the undercarriage collapsed.
