Halifax W1006 at Marston Moor airfield.
At 23.00hrs on 18th October 1943 this 1652 Heavy Conversion Unit aircraft damaged the tail wheel assembly after making a heavy landing at Marston Moor airfield. The tail wheel casting broke. Minor Cat.Ac damage resulted and it was repaired.
