Beaufighter V8821 at Scorton airfield.

On 8th July 1943 this aircraft was damaged on landing at Scorton airfield. Nothing more is known about the incident. The aircraft was being used by 417 USAAF Squadron who were based at Scorton while they prepared for night-fighting operations in North Africa.
