Beaufighter T3329 at Catfoss airfield.
On 5th May 1943 this No.2 (Coastal) Operational Training Unit aircraft swung on landing at Catfoss airfield, the port undercarriage broke causing damage to the port mainplane, flaps, aileron and engine. The starboard undercarriage was also strained.

Beaufighter T3329 was built to contract B.30264 by the Bristol Aeroplane Company Ltd. at Filton and was awaiting collection in July 1941. The aircraft was taken on charge as new by 2 (C)OTU but the date is not yet known. As a result of the mishap at Catfoss on 5th May 1943 Cat.Ac/FA damage resulted and it was repaired on site. The aircraft was later transferred to 9 (C)OTU at Crosby on Eden but the transfer date is not known. It remained there until around the date the unit disbanded on 11th August 1944. After this it was placed in MU store pending disposal and was struck off charge on 19th April 1945.
