Halifax R9498 at Pocklington airfield.
At 11.03hrs on 10th January 1943 a member of the airfield staff at Pocklington airfield was attempting to cross the perimeter track on a bicycle at Pocklington airfield in front of Halifax R9698 that was taxying towards him. He was struck on the head by the rotating starboard outer propeller and killed instantly. The aircraft did not sustain any damage.
