Halifax R9382 at Topcliffe airfield.
On 6th July 1943 this 1659 Heavy Conversion Unit aircraft was being used on a training flight when, at 02.18hrs, the aircraft swung on take off from Topcliffe. The pilot overcorrected the swing and the undercarriage collapsed.
