Lancaster R5672 at Lindholme airfield.
On 22nd October 1943 this 1656 Heavy Conversion Unit Lancaster landed at Lindholme airfield at 20.05hrs following a short training flight. After landing the pilot taxied off the runway and across the grass and by doing so collided with the stationary Halifax BB267. Minor damage to both aeroplanes resulted.

The pilot was killed on 24th March 1944 flying 156 Squadron Lancaster JB667 on an operational flight. He is buried in Berlin War Cemetery.
