On 17th June 1943 this 4 E.F.T.S. aircraft took off too closely behind another aircraft at Brough airfield and the slipstream effected the handling of this aircraft, it stalled and crashed.

Thomas Fenwick would be taken off pilot training as he later served as a navigator with 44 Squadron. On 20th May 1944 he was killed when Lancaster ND689 failed to return from Ops to Le Mans. He is buried in Abbeville Cemetery, France.
