Lysander R2034 at Hutton Cranswick airfield.
On 12th August 1943 this aircraft sustained damage when it taxied through a hedge on the edge of Hutton Cranswick airfield. The incident is mentioned in the 1489 Flight orb but whether the aircraft was one of their aircraft and staff pilots or one on detachment from a visiting unit with it's pilot undertaking air firing exercises is not yet known.
Pilot - F/Sgt Tattersall. Uninjured.
