Wellington LN603 at Lindholme airfield.
On 3rd December 1943 this 82 O.T.U. Wellington suffered engine trouble while flying at 2,000 feet roughly in the Lindholme area. The crew remained in the aircraft and all were still on board when a belly landing was made at Lindholme airfield at 21.06hrs on the grass next to the runway. The aircraft came to rest near a runway intersection but appears to have been swiftly removed because flying training resumed at Lindholme later.
