Halifax LK631 at Snaith airfield.
There is an AM Form 1180 for Halifax LK631 on 31st August 1943 that would suggest this 76 Squadron sustained some form of damage at or prior to landing at Snaith with the time given as being 04.30hrs. The rest of the form is left blank.
Halifax LK631 was flown operationally by 76 Squadron on the night of 30th / 31st August 1943 to bomb Munchen Gladbach. The aircraft set out from Holme on Spalding Moor just after midnight on 31st August 1943 and landed at 05.18hrs but while the location isn't given in the squadron records the AM Form 1180 states it was damaged at Snaith. I would suggest something happened in the air fifty miniutes prior to landing at Snaith but what I cannot guess at.
