Albacore L7080 at Sherburn in Elmet airfield.
On 29th December 1943 a No.6 Ferry Pilot Pool, ATA pilot was taxying this aircraft around Sherburn in Elmet airfield after landing when the brakes failed and it struck the nose of Whitley BD505 that was parked at the edge of the peimeter track. Minor
damage to both aeroplanes resulted.
