On 17th November 1943 this aircraft was being taxied around Catfoss airfield when the pilot selected the wrong lever in the cockpit, (probably) instead of the flaps lever he pulled the undercarriage lever and the undercarriage legs folded up. The aircraft came to rest on its belly.
