On 18th October 1943 this aircraft is mentioned in the 18 O.T.U / Finningley station orb as bursting a tyre on landing at Finningley airfield. Whether any other damage resulted is not yet known but I have created a webpage while more information is discovered. The aircraft was on the books of the Coastal Command Development Unit on this date. It is listed as being repaired on 22nd October 1943 and left two days later.
