Halifax JD266 at Snaith airfield.
During the afternoon of 25th November 1943 this 51 Squadron aircraft was given an airtest that lasted 1.15 hours. On landing at Snaith at 15.25hrs the port outer throttle jammed half open causing aircraft to swing off the runway. With the aircraft heading towards the bomb dump the pilot raised the undercarriage to stop and the aircraft was damaged.
