Halifax JB906 was built to contract ACFT/1808/C4 by English Electric Co.Ltd. at Samlesbury and was taken on charge by 405 Squadron at Leeming on 30th March 1943. Just days later on 4th April 1943 it sustained damage in this mishap and Cat.B/FB damage was the initial damage assessment. Nine days later on 13th April 1943 the aircraft must have been worked on when a more serious problem must have been found. It was Re.Cat.E and struck off charge. One very brief service history.
