On 6th July 1943 this 18 O.T.U. aircraft burst a tyre on landing at Finningley airfield during a night training flight, before the aircraft came to a stop the undercarriage had collapsed and the aircraft sustained minor Cat.Ac damage. The aircraft was repaired on site and was then further damaged the following month.
