Halifax DT689 at Wombleton airfield.
On 10th December 1943 this 1666 HCU aircraft was having its engines run up on dispersal at Wombleton airfield when the port outer engine caught fire at 22.40hrs. The aircraft fire was out out but the aircraft had recieved minor damage.
