Halifax DT519 at Marston Moor airfield.
At 11.05hrs on 23rd August 1943 this 1652 Heavy Conversion Unit aircraft made a heavy landing at Marston Moor airfield during a training flight which damaged the rudder, broke the tail wheel and buckled the aircraft skinning. Minor Cat.Ac damage resulted and it was repaired.
