Lancaster DS614 at Linton on Ouse airfield.
On 29th July 1943 this 426 Squadron aircraft landed at Linton on Ouse airfield following a training flight and the pilot noticed that the tail wheel was behaving strange. An investigation found that the tail oleo strut was damage; almost certainly being a known fault with the tail wheel assembly mountings and this aircraft probably had not had the modification made.
