Halifax DK167 at Holme on Spalding Moor airfield.
On 28th September 1943 this 76 Squadron underwent a routine inspection at Holme on Spalding Moor airfield which discovered a problem with it. The AM Form 1180 simply states Cat.Ac damage was the assessment. The AM Form 78 states Cat.Ac/FA damage was the assessment and this should relate to flying accident damage. Exactly what occurred is not known.
