Halifax DK128 at Rufforth airfield.
At 13.00hrs on 18th July 1943 this 1663 Heavy Conversion Unit aircraft suffered from the port main tyre bursting on landing at Rufforth. Before it could be brought to a halt it struck an M.T. vehicle alongside one of the other runways.
