Halifax DK115 at Croft airfield.
At 17.15hrs on 8th August 1943 this 1664 Heavy Conversion Unit was taxying at Croft airfield after a training flight when the undercarriage unexpectedly collapsed. An electrical solenoid spring had failed and the up-locked released.
