Halifax DG340 at Croft airfield.
At 18.55hrs on 18th November 1943 Halifax Dk185 of 1664 Heavy Conversion Unit was being taxied around Croft airfield when it ran into the back of Halifax DG340. The rear of Halifax DG340 had been lit but unfortunately the light had failed just prior to the collision. No injuries appear to have occurred. Whether the named pilot was in DK185 or DG340 is not yet known.
