Halifax DG280 at Croft airfield.
At 12.03hrs on 3rd August 1943 this 1664 Heavy Conversion Unit was landing at Croft in a slight cross-wind when it began to swing off the runway. The aircraft ended up ground-looping and the port undercarriage leg collapsed.
