Halifax DG248 at Rufforth airfield.
At 15.35hrs on 11th October 1943 this 1663 Heavy Conversion Unit aircraft taxied into a horse drawn vehicle on the perimeter track of Rufforth airfield being led by a farmer. The pilot of the aircraft was deemed to blame for not keeping an adequate look out. The farmer appears to have escaped injury but his cart was damaged.
