As a result of sustaining minor damage on 12th February 1943 Cat.Ac/FA damage was the damage assessment and it was repaired on site. It's first and only operational flight with 429 Squadron came on 4th April 1943 and on this flight the squadron records state that it was attacked by an enemy aircraft but it does not record any damage. The crew landed at Catfoss on their return to England. The aircraft was transferred to 30 OTU on 18th April 1943 and only ever then served with this unit. It was damaged on 14th March 1944 which saw Cat.Ac damage be the initial damage assessment though it was then raised to Cat.B on 22nd March 1944 and was taken away and repaired in a works factory. Once repaired it went through 48 MU and was returned to 30 OTU on 14th June 1944. On 5th February 1945 it sustained what was initially Cat.Ac damage, later raised to Cat.E and it was struck off charge. It was converted into an Instructional Air Frame 5032M. The last date known is of 12th September 1945 when it was struck off charge.
