On 16th August 1943 this 1520 Beam Approach Training Flight aircraft was being flown on a beam approach training flight when the starboard engine failed in the air. The aircraft was force landed at Holme on Spalding Moor airfield with the undercarriage retracted. A repair on site was carried out by a team of contractors and this aircraft was test flown on 25th September 1943.
