Spitfire AB180 at Catterick airfield.
At 19.00hrs on 11th June 1943 this 306 Squadron aircraft landed down-wind at Catterick airfield following a twenty minute flight but could not stop before the end of the runway, the aircraft was slightly damaged when it ran off the end of the runway. The aircraft was repaired.
