Slingsby T.17 Hengist (DG676 or DG573?) at Sherburn in Elmet airfield.
On 5th April 1943 this glider was being tested by the A.F.E.E. when it was force landed in the Sherburn in Elmet area, possibly off the area of the airfield. If it was damaged then it was only of a very minor nature as it was flying again a few days later. I cannot find my source that stated the aircraft's identity was DG676, DG573 may have been the identity.
