2 x unidentified Wellingtons at Topcliffe airfield.
Noth much is known about this incident and the only reference located is in 424 Squadron's ORB which stated that at on 2nd April 1943 at 23.30hrs as one aircraft
was being towed off the runway another aircraft taxied into it. The ORB does not identify the aircraft involved. 424 Squadron supplied two aircraft for an operational
flight to bomb Lorient on this night but as both aircraft were over the target at 23.14hrs they cannot have been involved. I have included both damaged aircraft on
this one webpage until more information is found to identify both aircraft.
