Unidentified Spitfire at Sherburn in Elmet airfield.
On 28th February 1943 an unidentified Spitfire was damaged in a mishap aircraft at Sherburn in Elmet at 13.20hrs. Nothing more is currently known about the incident. The aircraft appears to have been on the books of the A.F.E.E. at the time.
