Unidentified Tiger Moth at Hutton Cranswick airfield.
During the afternoon of 25th May 1943 308 Squadron pilots undertook formation flying exercises and on landing at Hutton Cranswick following the training flight this aircraft crashed. The aircraft's identity is not recorded in the squadron record. Only two Tiger Moths appear to have been on charge with 308 Squadron at this date; DE623 and DE734, but I have not yet obtained the AM Form 78 for either to confirm which sustained the damage on this date.
Pilot - P/O Roman Marecki PAF (P.2067). Uninjured.
