On 13th May 1943 the Lindholme station record book states that a Wellington crashed at Lindholme with a faulty undercarriage at 05.10hrs. Whether this aircraft was an O.T.U. aircraft from Finningley is not yet known. My next trip to the National Archives should yield more information in the records.
