Halifax W1004 at Breighton airfield.
At 16.00hrs on 16th July 1942 this 460 Conversion Flight aircraft landed at Breighton when the tail wheel began to shimmy, this caused minor damage to the tail of the aircraft. A modification that would have seen this problem deminished had not yet been incorporated into this aircraft.
