On 10th March 1942 this No.6 (Coastal) Operational Training Flight aircraft is listed in the unit records as being slightly damaged, almost certainly at their airfield of Thornaby.

Hudson V9034 was built to B.P.C. contract A-68 by the Lockheed Aircraft Corporation, at Burbank, California, USA and was transported by sea to the UK, arriving at Liverpool Docks in July 1941. From there it was taken by road to the Lockheed Assembly Division (UK) Ltd. at Speke where it was assembled and tested. It was flown to 10 MU on 25th September 1941 and was then taken on charge by 6 (Coastal) Operational Training Unit at Thornaby on 17th November 1941. On 11th March 1942 it received a Cat.Ac/FA damage assessment that saw it repaired on site and returned to 6 (C)OTU on 25th April 1942. It was later transferred to 1404 Met. Flight at St. Eval on 5th September 1942. On 9th September 1942 it appears to have been allotted to 48 Squadron but may not have been transferred there as this unit were operating Mk.V. and Mk.VI Hudsons at this time. On the same date it was taken on charge by 269 Squadron but again may not have gone there because on 17th September 1943 it was flown to 20 MU. On 9th October 1943 a repair in works was begun by Owen McMerry. On 18th February 1944 it was flown to 29 MU for storage. In May 1945 it went to Lockheed's at Speke before heading to the RAE at Farnborough. On 8th December 1947 it was sold to the Hawker Aircraft Company and after this date nothing more is known of it.
