On 28th October 1942 this No.1512 Beam Approach Training Flight aircraft was damaged on landing at Linton on Ouse airfield. Nothing more about the incident is yet known.
Crew - Names unknown.
Oxford V4132 was built to contract B.55346/39 by Standard Motors Ltd. at Coventry and was awaiting collection in September 1941. It was taken on charge by 12 B.A.T. Flight at Dishforth soon and this unit was then re-designated as 1512 B.A.T. Flight the same month. As a result of the mishap on 28th October 1942 minor Cat.A/FA damage resulted and it was repaired on site. On 25th June 1943 the aircraft was transferred to 14 (P)A.F.U. at Banff and was struck off charge on 14th September 1944.
