On 28th October 1942 this No.1512 Beam Approach Training Flight aircraft sank back into the ground after taking off for a training flight from Dishforth airfield at 08.40hrs. The crew escaped injury although their names are not currently known. I have copied this unit's record book and this incident appears to be the first damage to an aircraft they recorded in just over a year since their formation.
Crew - Names unknown.
