Tiger Moth T7115 near Crowle, Lincolnshire.

On 24th August 1942 this 4 EFTS aircraft hit the ground near Crowle whilst unauthorised low flying and overturned. Unfortunately in crashing the aircraft struck two civilian women who were working in a field and both sustained rib injuries. The location given in the 4 EFTS record book is "five miles southwest of Swinefleet". More modern references to this incident give the location give as "Moors Farm", Crowle which would put the site as being just inside Lincolnshire and therefore out of contention for inclusion in this website. I leave the webpage intact until proof of the location is discovered. Sgt Senior was later tried and found guilty at Court Martial for a low flying offence.
