Blenheim K7087 was built to contract 43506/35 by The Bristol Aeroplane Co. Ltd. at Filton and was delivered to 114 Squadron at Wyton on 11th October 1937. It was used by 114 Squadron until being flown to 20 MU on 2nd June 1939 at Aston Down and was then placed into storage. On 6th December 1939 it was taken on charge by 12 Group Pool also based at Aston Down. On 15th March 1940 12 Group Pool was re-designated 5 OTU and it remained at Aston Down. On 4th July 1940 it was flown to Cunliffe Owen Aircraft Ltd. at Eastleigh for unspecified work to be carried out, on 11th September 1940 it was then flown to 10 MU at Hullavington. On 1st January 1941 it was taken on charge by 252 Squadron at Chivenor to be used by Coastal Command. On 30th March 1941 it was transferred to 3 (C)OTU at Chivenor and then was transferred to 2 (C)OTU at Catfoss on 24th July 1941. As a result of the damage sustained at Catfoss on 25th March 1942 Cat.B/FA damage was the initial assessment but it was later re-assessed on 8th April 1942 and the damage then deemed to great to warrant a repair and it was Re-Cat.E and struck off charge. It's total flying time was recorded as being 447 hours.
