Unidentified aircraft at Doncaster airfield.
On 9th October 1942 this 1484 (Bomber) Gunnery Flight aircraft was slightly damaged in a landing at Doncaster. The unit records do not state the aircraft type or actually state the aircraft was damaged but it does state that on 9th October 1942 two airmen flew to York to collect an aircraft to temporarily replace the one damaged on 9th october 1942 (the Doncaster one).
