Unidentified Beaufighter at Catfoss airfield.
On 5th December 1942 this aircraft landed heavily on it's tail at Catfoss airfield, the aircraft suffered damage with its "stern frame" broken and the fuselage and both
main undercarriages damaged. The aircraft's correct identity is not yet known but it believed to have been in the "EL.." serial batch, of which some thirty of the EL.. batch between EL145 to EL534 served with 2 (C)O.T.U.. The unit orb listed it as "ELLZY"
