Unidentified Blenheim MkI at Church Fenton airfield.
On 24th February 1942 the pilot of this 54 Operational Training Unit Blenheim MkI made an approach to land at Church Fenton airfield when the undercarriage failed to lower. The pilot made a crash landing on the airfield and the aircraft was slightly damaged. The incident is briefly recorded in the unit ORB and nothing else is yet known about what happened.
