Unidentified Wellington at Pocklington airfield.
On 13th March 1942 a Wellington may have been slightly damaged at Pocklington airfield, the incident is listed in Mike Usherwood's book on Pocklington airfield stating it struck a post while being taxiied around the airfield. The identity of the aircraft is not yet known but it would have been repaired having sustained minor Cat.A/FA damage. The only squadron based at Pocklington airfield at that time was 405 Squadron but their ORB does not list any aircraft as being damaged on this date.
