Whitley Z6980 at Leeming airfield.

On the night of 8th / 9th September 1941 the crew of this 10 Squadron aircraft were tasked with flying an operational flight to bomb Kassel but as the aircraft picked up speed down the runway at Leeming the undercarriage collapsed.
