Whitley Z6507 at Linton on Ouse airfield.
On 13th April 1941 this 58 Squadron swung on take off at Linton on Ouse airfield and struck the angle of glide indicator. The AM Form 1180 lacks detail for this incident, it appears to have been a night accident. 58 Squadron flew operational sorties on this night and while the squadron records do not mention the incident. Whether it would have been flown on the operational sortie had it got airborne or whether it was to be flown on a trainin flight is not known.
