Blenheim Z6174 at Catfoss airfield.
On 1st November 1941 the undercarriage of this aircraft collapsed after a heavy landing at Catfoss airfield. Nothing more is known about the incident.

Blenheim Z6174 was built to contract B.119994/40 by A.V.Roe & Co. Ltd. at Chadderton and was awaiting collection in January 1941. A short period of MU storage
then followed but the aircraft was taken on charge by 248 Squadron based at Dyce in March 1941 and it moved with the unit on 21st June 1941 to Bircham Newton. In
July 1941 248 Squadron ceased operating Blenheim MkIV's and the aircraft was then transferred to 2 (C)OTU at Catfoss. As a result of the mishap at Catfoss on 1st
November 1941 Cat.E2/FA damage was recorded and the aircraft was written off.
